Being a Michigan fan, I really wish that people hadn't been so hard on RichRod. He was doing his best and didn't deserve the kind of hate some people were leveling at him.

@thewhitewhale11 I was glad he got the job because I was beyond fed-up with the stodgy "smash-mouth" football Schembechlor's disciples brought to the game. RichRod, for whatever reason, wasn't able to recruit well, and that's what kept the team from doing well.

I hope he has lots of success in Arizona.

@guyNbluejeans in certain aspects i do agree, he was given a job that he shouldn't have been given in the first place. did anyone thing his style of offense would fit in ann arbor in the first place? that's on brandon. in other apects, it was just bad coaching. say what you want, richrod is an idiot. this was confirmed with his josh groban incident at the end of his last season. with this said though, i think he'll have more success in arizona

@johnnyv1938 I think the fans where pretty supportive and understood the wreck he took over. what doomed RR was the undermining from the very top in the Athletic department. the sabotaging of the program. Why,we can only guess. He came pretty close to overcoming it, but in the end it was too much.

RR left the team better than he found it, with a group of very tough and committed football players.
