After installing a couple of parts on the Ancient Guardian, Crim handed the Old Sage a fruit. Then scurried his way off to break a couple more blue meteors, and then he bumped into this big red creature with four arms. He wasn't sure if should kick this one. It looked really fierce. Instead, he decided to be on his good side and hand him a fruit.
Then there was Meejee. All this time, Crim wondered why Meejee wouldn't challenge him. Espee wasn't even much of a challenge in Mushroom Valley. So he ran up to him and gave him a few swift kicks in the knees. Furious, Meejee put up his fists and challenged Crim to a fight. Unfortunately, it wasn't as challenging as he thought it would be. So he decided to go back to a nest and grow a few new parts.
Then he ran off into the Moonlit Stoneway to find new idol parts for the Old Sage.
Going down the path of the cave, he spotted a blue crystal. Then an ominous feeling came over him, drawing him to the light in the center of the small chamber. Soaring down from the sky, a red meteor crashed and blocked his path. Creeping out of the darkness came a horrifying creature. A creature that has destroyed the world he tried to save. Zarkhator. Crim didn't hesitate to fight him. This was his chance to get back at him for what he did!
They pulled out all the tricks they had. Gnawing, scratching, charging back and forth. Neither of them wanted to lose. Crim did had an extra trick in mind. Instead of constantly charging at him, he started to use his newly acquired ability to regenerate in order to gain the upper hand. He finally cornered Zarhkator and ram him into submission.
It seemed like it was over, but Zarkhator got up and pulled out an extra trick of his own. Absorbing the energy of the red meteor, he used it to summon these small unusual black creatures. He jumped out of the cave, leaving Crim behind to deal with his mininons.
With only little time to react, he ran up to the red meteor and destroyed it. He then finished off Zarkhator's minions with quick precision.
He ate some of his fruit in haste to recover from such a horrid encounter. Then he was distracted by a strange looking fruit near by. For some reason, he thought he may need this. He didn't really know why though. "Would this taste better than normal fruit? Maybe I can eat this after a battle," he thought.
Going down the path that the red meteor was blocking, he was stopped by another creature. He wanted something called a Moon Fruit. Crim slowly took out the illuminating fruit he found near by the entrance and the creature swiped it from his hands right away. "Darn my intuition!" he said to himself.
Creature called himself Grub, and he needed help freeing this creature called the Yeti. In order to do this, he needed help from other three friends who were somewhere in these caves. Crim agreed to help and started to prepare for a bit of an excursion to the depths of the cave system.
He gathered some fruit by a near by tree, but then lost his footing and fell off the edge. He didn't get hurt, but he wanted to stop by the nest for a bit of rest.
From where he stood, he saw these glowing flowers scattered about on and around the river. They jiggled if he got too close. If he was really close, they would push him away with their tongues. "Flowers with tongues? What kind of world is this? Arrr...." he thought as he leaped to each rocky platform. Eventually, he found another cave path where he could here some faint noises.

Did you know Zarkhator and your creature are actually brothers that spawned from two different crystals? Blue/Good Red/Bad. These brothers hate each other and they get in arguments alot!

@jj13103 They are not brothers according to how I visualized it. Crim is a space pirate captain who was reborn after the star of his solar system implodes and releases a cloud of stardust forming a nebula from which the crystals were formed. His crystal then crash lands on this world. It then gives him the oppurtunity to avenge his comrades, starting with Zarkhator. My story for my characters is of course is a fan-based parallel.
