On February 13th, 2007, the Students at the College of Wooster were planning to take part in a long honored tradition. Little did they know that soon there would be violence and tears.

  • College of wooster students are not all rich. Some don't have too much money at all, and the majority are just normal middle class people that get in with good grades and scholarships through music, a.k.a. talent, obviously something you,flyn09, don't have.

  • i live in Wooster and listened to this on the police scanner.

it was the funniest freaking thing i've ever heard.

the cop sounded like barney fife fumbleing for his one bullett!!

  • In high school I worked at the C.O.W back in the late 70's/80's they wouldn't just block Kauke hall they would fill it from one end to the other! freaken' tunnel didn't melt till like July!!!

No one really thought much of it either, Admin would just shake their heads and get back to running the college...

Different admin and different views I guess...We had way more fun back then...

  • Dude I love this video, I never knew anything went on like this in big woo. Definately don't see that in the daily record, although since it's apparently been going on for years, I suppose it's old news?

  • i live in wooster just down the road while i do not attend the college i still went and supported

  • The music really captures the mood; that night was TENSE. So many people at Wooster revere people like the Kent State protestors of the '60s. The place is a protest just waiting to happen, and that night the police gave us a reason. Even if it wasn't as dramatic as Kent State's cause, you should have tried telling that to us when the pipe band showed up playing Scotland the Brave, and we got so psyched we nearly turned into an all-out mob. -Ross, '08

  • hehe...i remember trying to do this when i was student at woo...

  • Good times.....no1 will be able to top our performance for another 100 yrs.....or so I hope

  • That is pretty impressive how you got all of those students to work together like that. Here at SCAD theyd all be too stoned to cooperate. Damn art kids.

  • I can't believe they honored it! Ours was plowed... Great night though. -SL- '99
