  • @untilhowlong good idea, let it free where it will get killed because it cant fly well enough to protect itself from cats ferrets and stoats..

  • dub dub dub dot ngamanu.co.nz

This is where the talking Tui lives I think. Great place.

  • Sorry - couldnt believe what I was hearing....anyway the Tui is very happy as I recall and better off here than in bush where he would have died with broken wings...he is much loved

  • I think this Tui is in a sanctury on the Kapiti coast of NZ. It was rescued as a chick so cannot fly reason why in cage. We stood beside its cage and I couldnt believe what I was happening - sounded alot like a radio but was the bird.

  • Why is it caged up?

  • plz plz let the bird free... for God's sake!

  • Shame it's locked up in a cage instead of being free like it should be. Maybe it should learn to say "Hey wanker let me be free because I'm sure you wouldn't wanna be locked up like you have me"

  • Shame about the cage.

  • I never knew Tui's were such good mimics! I always wondered why the school kids close to my home were going to school so early when I saw it was a Tui doing it! :D

  • this can't be
