Why would the White House want the 2010 U.S. Census results delivered to them instead of the independent governmental agency that has been overseeing the U.S. census for decades, that is the question? I am sure that will be the next fight against this administration soon to come. If anyone has an answer that isn't shrouded in doubt or corruption I would like to hear it!!!

The census hires thousands of everyday citizens from all over the country to aid in the U.S. Census. Earlier this year, in a coordinated effort within the White House and ranking members of Congress subcontracted ACORN to lead the door-to-door census for 2010. This is what the revolt against the census was all about. Also, the results of the 2010 census will be delivered to the White House which has never been done before in U. S. history, instead of to the U.S. Department of Commerce.

What involvement does acorn have in the census. I always thought that the census bureau hires their own people and that was that.

Bachmanns and many others in Congress and in the Senate boycott of the U.S. Census was due to the corrupt ACORN involvement. Now that Acorn has been removed from all activity in the 2010 census they have not taken that stand since. I am not going to debate any religious issue because that is everyone's individual right, if the majority of this country is Christan, than so be it.

She made a comment about people slitting their wrists to prevent the gov option. If your opposed to the Obama and his policies, that's fine and dandy but she also made a comment about boycotting the census, which it is in the constitution that we take census every decade. What I DON'T want is for this country to become a Christan theocracy.
