Everyone loves the last two minutes of the overture. It's the bit everyone always remembers. You can't help but shiver when you listen to it.

@cwhd73 Who knows? Voting is one of the most patriotic things you can do, so does it matter? Our two party system wouldn't work if we only had one party.

thoe cannons are very loud? How do you know when to block your ears when the cannons are being shot?

This was 2007, and yes it sprinkled as the day went on, but I wouldn't trade my experience for anything. I travelled from Ohio just for this concert, and it fulfilled my expectations--I loved it!
