A quick, non-narrated tour of the projection booth at the 9 screen movie theatre I work at.

We've got a few issues, sure, but I put on the best show I can with what I have to work with.

  • God, that would be freaky. So what would your job title be then?

  • i'm not a professional, but i was always curious what a projection booth looked like. thanks!

  • christie digitals are boring man. we have two. and a digital imax.

just play and go, haha. do you ingest the movies and create the playlist too? or does your projection manager take care of that?

  • Is your Booth haunted, or scary?. Where I work I hear voices, and footsteps when I'm down in the theaters checking for sleepers after hours. Also everyone is gone.

  • Cool, I work at Farmington, NM., and we no longer use 35 MM instead we use Christie Digital Projections, it gets boring when the movie starts on its own. How long have you been a Projectionist?
