You know...learning to embrace his strengths is what helps me to overcome his weaknesses; which I find none. I've grown to accept the things society THINKS he should know. They're there, he just hasn't let us in on them yet.
No, my son doesn't know how to tie his shoe at age 16 but life goes on. I look at all that he has knowledge of and incorporate it in everyday life.
There's so much more to life than lacing a stupid shoe...lol! His presence says so much more!
