Arrow Breaks During Archery Shot

High speed video of an arrow that breaks when the bow is shot. Always flex before you shoot your arrows or you could injure your hand or poke out your eye by the splinters. i had this happen to me too, and i always flex and twist after every shot. the last 6inches of my arrow ended up in my sight thank god! im not shooting carbons right now. wish we could see the rest of the vid, i went to the website and couldnt find it. pitty that some people are more concerned on how to make money then to show a whole vidieo that might save some ones hand !!!

flexing is taking the arrow and bending it, It wont hurt it. If you hear anything like cracking throw it away immediately dont get it mixed up with other arrows...it is damaged and cannot be fixed or used again. It will jack you up badly!

Why the dislikes? It is correct to flex your carbon arrows to check them. If you dont this can really happen to you. Thank you for the video, i do use it to show people what can happen. Its even written on the arrow shafts.

@icemantheman Sorry, I just copied that comment so because i saw 2 of the same question. If you ever see a goldtip arrow, it says to bend them right on the arrow. I would think it would be bad form to do that as you shoot.

@icemantheman you slightly bend the arrow and twist it and listen for cracks or pops to make sure there are no cracks

This happened to me when I shot at a deer. Arrow broke into three pieces and took my watch right off.
