This video shows a group of 5 Red Squirrels who were found orphaned in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They were taken in at about 5 weeks old and are now 10 weeks old, and ready to soon be released into the wild. If you find any injured or orphaned wildlife, you should bring it to your nearest wildlife rehabilitation centre. The animal can receive proper care and may be returned to the wild.

  • Pretty sure manitoba law by conservation permits says that rehabilitation animals cannot be displayed. That would make this video considered illegal to be displayed on youtube as it would be labeled as viewing animals during rehabilitation.

  • Thank-you for your concern. We are permitted to photograph and videotape wildlife undergoing rehabilitation. If you have any other questions feel free to contact us.

  • luky

  • That is about the sweetest video I've seen on YouTube.

  • These ones were about 5 weeks old.

  • how young was he when you found him?

  • I found a baby squirrel, and I raised him up, and released him at a nursing home where they feed them, so I dont have to worry about him starving. He was so cute to bottle feed!
