@sinistermoon when i started i thought, "i'll have it professionally maintained". then realized how much i'm saving on 6 cabs doing minor repairs myself. i've saved at least $500.
I have a SNK MVS 4U like that and i don't know too much electronics but i think in repair because the machine sounds good when i put the coins sounds good but the monitor don't turn on, any recomendation? Thanks
You related to the boss in the movie "Office Space"? Lol. You said "Yeah" like 5 times in 1 minute & 43 seconds, hehe. Just messing with ya. Definitely do a cap kit man. Go to TheRealBobRobertsDOTCom and order one for your model. Takes a few hours to get it done carefully, but I have done 2 from him in past year and they give excellent results.
Was it the single horizontal line? If so, look for the vertical output IC. Also I see a yellow&blue wire connector that goes to two pins of a connector that's next to the one presumably used for the deflection coil. Could that be a feedback circuit for the power supply?

Damn this whole time I'm like "I reckon the capaciters may have something to do with it" and then at the last second you beat me to it.
Still man you'll work it out
