  • Just a quick thought.. Is the tubing cut perfectly squared and deburred

  • @alan14b It's not the tubing... I can swap on a different fitting of the same type to the same tube and it will seal up just fine. Trust me... I thought the same thing.

  • The connector can't hold back the pressure the pump can supply, but it would never be blocked, does it still do this with a nozzle connected releasing some of the pressure.

  • @pimppulsar Yes! It still does this when connected to the nozzle. Whether the end is blocked or not It should still be able to seal and hold the pressure of me blowing in the end of the tube. I confirmed it was a bad fitting by replacing the fittings with a different manufacturer's fitting and it holds pressure without leaking just fine. These fittings are designed for use in Pneumatics, where pressures are normally in the 150psi range. I don't buy the thought that they can't hold back pressure.

  • If it does it with a nozzle on as well then definately up the shoot, what brand was it and what did you replace with.

I recently found out quite a few of the water/meth companies share parts.

  • How long have you had your methanol system installed for? Do you like it? Do you have to refill the tank all the time? Thx
