Dr Wolfgang Feist, Director of the Passivhaus concept in discussion with Peter Warm. Interviews given during the AECB conference 2009 in which Dr Feist was guest speaker.
Dr Feist is the originator of the Passivhaus concept and methodology. He was founder and is current director of the Passivhaus Institut in Germany, as well as holding the Chair of Building Physics at the University of Innsbruck. Dr Feist is acknowledged as a leading world authority on low energy buildings; he regularly lectures all over the world.
Peter Warm is an independent Energy Consultant with wide experience of working on low energy buildings. He has recently been promoting the Passivhaus concept, and advising clients in this area. Peter was Chair of the AECB for nearly 10 years, and is currently working to develop the AECBs Passivhaus certification strategy.
The AECB is an independent membership networking organisation, founded in 1989, promoting sustainable construction. It is a UK partner organisation to the Passivhaus Institut and a member of the Pass-Net project which is a European network of Passivhaus organisations.
