Originally telecast in "full color" (only this black and white kinescope exists) on January 10, 1957. "SHOWER OF STARS" was a series of monthly specials that alternated with Chrysler's "CLIMAX!" anthology series- Thursdays at 8:30pm(et) on CBS- from 1954 through 1958. By 1956, "SHOWER OF STARS" had virtually become a monthly "Jack Benny Special". Art Gilmore [who recently passed away at age 98] is your announcer...
