they did fly with escort becouse its to risky for the president to fly over Denmark when there were a Russian bomber flying there

It does, properly F15, longer range, better RADAR. Air Force One "only" has chaff, flare, ECM and IR jammers to my knowledge no attack capibilities. But the escort, when its on approach they would have broken off. I can't imagine either that escort would fly tight formation with A.F 1 it would be an unnessary safety risk.
