Custom Made Adjustable Car Ramps

Making some adjustable height car ramps. This is the first one of two. So basically they'll be two of these, you drive the car on and park it at the top of the ramp. You can then lift the car further by using a cordless drill. The ramp inclines can then optionally be removed for side.

Apologese for the odd angled shots.. I just took the video on my phone and uploaded directly from the phone without checking the video. But you get the jist of what I've made anyway.

Scissor Jacks like the ones you used are very dangerous. Make sure you block the car up so if the jack fails it won't crush you. There should never be any weight on the scissor jack when you are under the car.

@HotBlackFiat Yes your right there are dangers associated with scissors jacks.

To be honest the default height of the landing platform is more than plenty to do any work under the car and I find I never need raise the jacks. In the lowered position the jacks have no weight on them at all.
