So this was the Knicks the year before Pat Riley came aboard. Saw a game from his first season there here on Youtube a while ago. It's amazing how different the MSG enviornment and the Knicks are from this season to that one. Thanks to Dave Checketts and Riley for making Knicks basketball fun again.

Here are two examples of Al Bianchi boneheadedness. He and John McLeod tried to ruin Mark Jackson's career because Bianchi could not take credit for drafting him in 87. then Bianchi lets Bernard King get away. But then he brings in Kiki Vandeweghe. Of course bonehead move #3 was making Rick Pitino so unhappy he left. What a shmuck.

This was a really cool game for me to watch as a Knicks fan. Bernard King was my first favorite player when he was on the Knicks. 91 i graduated high school and was the first year I went from NBA fan to NBA hardcore fan.
