This particular model retails for about $600 CDN. I just rented it for a month because it has Japanese Taiko sounds that I need for a video I am working on. Though it was a blast to play with at first (the recording was done within 10 minutes of trying it out), I got bored with it over the weekend. Would much rather have a set like yours, or one of the high end sets with "skins". Thanks for your post; have fun with your set, the sound is great.
