@savvproduction for the heart to stop in a child is very rare, most of the time its due to respiratory problems. so in this case the fire (i assumed their was a fire in this scene) made all the carbon monoxide making it harder to breathe until she passed out then her heart stopped. so in this case ventilating i would say is still very important and might fix the problem also they would of needed a AED.

@savvproduction What cbarnes94 said is right on the money. The primary objective to CPR is the keep the blood flowing. Yes, giving 2 short breaths is good, but not 100% necessary. The main objective is keep the heart pumping. Plus, he's doing it extremely hard for a little girl. He would possibly breakthe sternum. Also, you never give CPR on a stretcher or bed. You always move to the floor for less give.

@cbarnes94 Well now you are not required to do mouth to mouth. They tested and compression's give some air in. And yeah i'm getting certified for my EMR and CPR by certified people,i just wanted a few opinions.
