Jim Brady, Vice President and Executive Editor of WashingtonPost.com, visits Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss the changing media landscape and how WashingtonPost.com is making the transition into the new world. He also covers the recent election and how the web has changed the nature of election coverage. This event took place on December 15, 2008, as part of the Authors@Google series.
Brady has led WashingtonPost.com to numerous awards and accolades since being named executive editor of the site in November 2004. Under his leadership, washingtonpost.com has been focused on combining the world-class journalism of The Washington Post with the endless possibilities of the online medium. The site has won a national Emmy Award for its Hurricane Katrina coverage, a Peabody Award for its "Being a Black Man" series, and an Editor & Publisher award for Best Overall Newspaper-Affiliated Web Site, among others.
