Cornell Romany Plus demo with a Gibson ES-335 and Fender Telecaster, both fitted with Seymour Duncan pickups. The Romany is a 1x12, all-valve, handbuilt (in England) 10 watt combo with spring reverb that is switchable from 10 watts to 1.5 watts to 0.5 watts to 0.3 watts. The microphone level does not change in this video, so, you can hear that the Romany Plus is capable of a whole array of sounds at usable levels. This is the ultimate home/studio combo for those who seek the classic sounds it delivers.

  • All that effort and you couldnt be bothered to tune the guitar.

    What a shame.

  • Great playing, amazing sounding amp! I'd love to get one of these in future! Sexy tones, plus British pride! haha

What was that you were playing after 4:20? The 'Bit of Greeny' bit? It sounded frickin sweet.

And kudos on busting out Yer Blues! :D

  • ahhh, "Dragonfly" by Danny Kirwan. Nice choice!

  • Is the romany plus powerful enough to play with my band???

  • is the romany plus powerful enough to play whith my band???

  • Nice, I know Television.....there it comes from! Kewl Amp btw.

  • Sounds flabby/farty 3:25, is that the amp or mic struggling to capture the tone??

  • This Romany Plus sounds good. Bad name though. "Romany" brings to mind something not to be trusted...something slightly evil and unknown..this is due to the age long bad press Gypsies (Romanys) have had through the ages, most I'll grant you unwarranted!

  • Great Neil Young sound! ..first tele bit sounded flabby!...at least its not like "garciaman55" with his JTM45/100 & JP.Lp...that really sounded weak and quite sterile compared to this. It seems Cornell is the way to go for amps..my Marshall 1974X has just blown another transformer..and this is one not from the first troulbesome batch but a replacement for the first amp that went through 3 transformers until Marshall gave me a new amp under warranty! No this Romany Plus sounds good. Bad name tho

  • What an amazing little amp! I had no idea they were so versatile, and more importantly, SOUND so yummy!

    Excellent demo - Thanks
