  • Nice work! high A only 1st valve? Nice C at the end - man, once you develop solo chops, you've got a career...if only you had my good looks, too... :)

  • @GFLJOboss Yer, I used to do high A's on 3rd, but various people have told me to try it on 1. Never turning back! It just opens up the sound, but i mean it all depends on the shape of your face, trumpet and your inner mouth!

Thanks for the kind words :)

  • nice! are you playing these by ear or do you have the music?

  • @andrewoc15 I'm playing this one with the music, but most of them are done by ear.

  • @andrewoc15 got given the part from somebody but I mean, its not very difficult to transcribe and it can only be a good thing to do!

  • @PINCHUNO lmao......"yourbrassinstructor" is a jackass! You are spot on with that one.

  • @rdt1314 in eric's cd he hits the final double c perfectly with a gorgeous, rich tone. Plus in the live recordings you are referring to, he would be playing a whole evening of Maynard stuff as well!!

  • i need the notes

  • Hi Tiko!

You play just very good, especially when you consider that you only 17 years old. I am a big fan of the trumpet, particularly love jazz.

If you have any desire to play during a conference ITG in USA in 2012, I am ready to finance your expenses during the conference.

Once again, well done. Bravissimo!!! If not hard, send me your email address.

    samvel@satra.ru

    Sincerely,

    Samvel.

  • NIce one as per usual! Fantastic stuff. The idiot who goes under the name "yourbrassinstructor" should watch your viseoa and learn a few things. Congratulations.

  • Wow. You know what really amazes me? There are about five recordings of Eric playing this, and not once does he hit the last note! Great Work!
