Miss Pole Dance UK 2009/10 Maxine Betts doing a special performance in memory of her dad at the Cancer Research Beginners pole dancing event.
The whole event was very emotional and was organised as a tribute to Sam Ames's mum, Maxine also had very personal reasons for wanting to perform and her mum came to watch too.
If you would like to donate to the event still please get in touch with Sam Ames

  • @turtlekiss100 I don't agree with having the kids there, but they probably just think that this is a fun way for people to dance. It's like an adult's jungle gym. It would be different if she was taking her clothes off or something.

  • turtlekiss, emmiqueen ... I hardly know what to say. Children live in the real world. Apparently you two do not. Shame on both of you. Ms Betts was doing what she could to honor the memory of her father. She is a dancer, and a remarkable athlete, much the same as the Olympic swimmers and gymnasts which you would allow your children (if you have them) to watch on television without a second thought. The only questionable thing there is Ms Betts' choice in shoes. Grow up people.
