  • Their finishing the last leg of the trail which will connect to the trail in Upland. I'm really excited for this project.

If you folks frequent the trail, I think I might have seen you guys. I've sighted a pair of recumbents on the trail a couple of times.

  • @FastDashEight .....we try to ride the trail every couple of months, so it is likely you saw us. Really looking forward to the completion of the gap so we can ride all the way from I-15 to Claremont.

  • What an excellent idea. Old rail lines are a waste of space. we have just got into triking ourselves and enjoy every moment we are out.

    Thanks for sharing your rides.

  • @oratwi ....thank you for watching. Have been real busy the past few months, plus was sick with a really bad case of the flu, then two rounds with tonsillitis. Am now back in training and should be doing some more videos.

  • Thanks for your feedback! We're excited about this new project, which should be completed within the next two years.

We also have another great resource here in So. Cal. called the Santa Ana River Trail which follows the Santa Ana River from Yorba Linda, CA to Newport Beach, CA....31 miles. The trail is entirely separated from traffic. Ultimately the trail will be extended up to the San Bernardino Mountain foothills and will be close to 100 miles long.

  • I can't wait for the foothill bridge to be completed! My only question is "Will fontana ever get it's act together and build their section????!!!!! It's a bummer to go to the 15 fwy only to have to turn around to go back so soon.

  • These are cool Wisconsin has hundereds of trail like this. In Green Bay they have a 8-10 mile trail and NO goverment subsidy! They make money! They say it' the most used trail! But there are trees, rivers, ducks, flowers, rich homes and et al. ONLY problem "I" had was it's FLAT and bikers (Charle's wannabe brother)think they own it. Are rude and force walkers, children, dogs and handicapped people out of their way.

  • Rails to Trails bike paths are the way to go. More areas should convert the rails that are no longer in use.

  • Hi, Thanks for sharing. What is the little T-shaped bracket near the pedals where your computer and lights are attached?

    Thanks,

    Dan

  • Here in San Antonio, Texas, they paved over a tiny section of abandon railroad track, to tie it into a a paved walking circle. I wished they could have paved it for a greater distance, I have 2 homemade tadpole trikes, they're alota' fun!!
