AN OMAGH teenager has been approached by the PSNI to become an informer on illegal activity in the town, and he has the damning evidence to prove it.

The young man part-recorded on his mobile phone a conversation he had with a named Constable at Omagh PSNI station last Friday afternoon.

to be honest tom sinn fein isnt the problem of any other group just because one person says anyone with information please come forward we arent touts the problem is with other groups they are riddled then they break away form another group then break away again...

give me one example where someone has been arressted by information given by a shinner? i guarantee ye not one person has been sure for them to get information it has to come from within their own organisation...

People here talk about 'tactics of the old RUC' guys do you not see what's going on here? This is exactly the tactics of 'old republicanism' and the 'woe is me' attitude and rhetoric. This is standard procedure for 'ALL' interviews conducted by the PSNI. So, this isn't just 'special treatment' for republicans this is used for all interviewees.
