@DrEviscerator666 Yeah man. George Lynch even stated something about that, in an interview, that when he "Taps" he tries to not sound, like he's tapping. Im the opposite, I tap, because I like the sound of the wide intervals, which cant be played on the guitar without tapping. I love that tapped sound. Like a fleet of angy violins, coming to shank you with their bows LOL. I was never a EVH fan. I think Lynch is much more enjoyable to listen to. His notes weep and scream!

His middle finger tapping technique was more versatile. I wonder why he switched to his index finger.

Best tapping EVAR! They say EVH has the best, but lynch is so damn Insane that it doesnt sound like tapping! LYNCH FTW!
