ive got a dodge with 3.2 v6 a flowmaster 40 series, would you recommend i remove my resonator? i remove the first one and placed a y pipe there but there is one more right before the flowmaster. what do you think? Im iffy ive heard allot of yes go for it and no way to much drone, I dont mind the drone I would like a little more and more in the higher rpms

@Israelsniped120 ya i know, but one thing i can do without is the gas guzzler tax that comes with it plus the r/t can get up to 25 mpgs or so, which this day in age counts for a little something. plus the r/t is real close in performance anyway so r/t or srt , either way, its a win-win . -later

@GMCman82 hahahaha i wish i had the big hemi

@Israelsniped120 thanks for the info, im just doing my research early so i know exactly what i want when the time comes instead of doing one thing and finding something else i might like better. awesome car, its definitely the best representation of a muscle car out of the big 3. that hemi and exhaust note sure puts a smile on ur face dosent it.

@GMCman82 it sounds better in my opinion with the resonator delete. they removed everything from under my car and repiped the entire thing. they used a y pipe into 2 /2 piping to the two 44s and then i had them install rounded magna flow tips on. it sounds really nice with the resonator delete and the 44s brought forward a little to get a better tone. im not gonna say you should get a resonator delete though. thats all on you man, i dont want you getting it done and not liking it.

@Israelsniped120 nice, is it a good idea to get rid of the resonators or keep them on? they cut the droning out in the cab while ur going down the road but does it make ur exhaust sound any better? didnt know if there was that much of a difference. when i get one i was thinking of super 44s true duals with 2 1/2 in. pipe and cut the pipe down to about 4 or 5 inches where it comes from the outlet under the rear seat a ltiitle before the rear axle with the pipes bent to 45 degree turndowns
-
@GMCman82 ended up getting the super 44s true duel exhaust y pipe to to 44s and then 2 outs. it was brought forward on the car quite about to get a deeper tone. it sounds really nice on my car. i was beside an srt8 the other day and the depth on mine sounded alot better(sounded more like an old muscle car) however the srt8 was a little louder

@Israelsniped120 i have the super 40s on my truck, they are not quite as loud and throaty as the 44s but they dont drone in the cab like the 44s. i actually cant really hear them if i have my windows up. if u really want to make them loud do a cat delete and throw a more agressive cam in and mabey some headers, but if ur like me, you dont fix what isnt broken, so i mostly leave things alone until something needs replaced. so i replace it with something better or i get rid of it like the cats

@co19ff i drive 30 minutes to work every day monday through saturday and dont want the gas milage of a v8 so i bought the v6 which has better milage and the one i bought is the mopar edition in blue. it looks good and drives good with a little less power and all. but mine is now chipped and turbo charge so its fast and i just need a flowmaster for good sound. the r/t wasnt a good idea for me because of milage. this is why we dont buy r/t packages
Hey sounds awesome buddy!

Thanks. I recently made it a dual exhaust with a Y-pipe; check out the video under my profile. Still sounds good and looks good.
