  • the stuff he's showing us are the fundemental roots of playing that help most at blues jams, sitting in on a set without really knowing the tunes. always go back to this stuff and take a deep breath..and you'll do fine. thank you marlowdk

  • Marlowe..can you help me the mechanics of linking the notes in the bass line?

  • Thanks Marlowe...I'm going to go practice now.

  • Gotta Love that Fender Tone ..The Granddaddy of em all....I so need to add one to the collection...its on the list ..

  • @Chiller30001993 you can be fool, a lifetime of dedication is all it takes

  • @DementedBoosh

I am a guitar player who started out on the bass in 1973. Long time, right? I have picked up the drums and keys as well as dorking around with any other musical instrument I can get my hands on but I am not nearly as proficient on any as well as the first two.

As far as appreciating bassists - I have always hated the bassist/drummer jokes and laugh at the assholes that tell them. I always tell them it might be funny now but when they really need one or the other...good luck.

  • DRUMS ARE MAKING ME RAGE. They are too loud, TURN UP THE BASS :D

  • You use SH77 Steve Harris signature strings?
