Klartraum is the musical partnership of Helmut Ebritsch and Nadja Lind, the
Berlin based production duo that have, between them, released critically
Mike
acclaimed music for imprints such as Soma, Darkroom Dubs & Morris Audio
to name but a few. Ebritsch & Lind joined forces in 2006 after meeting
through a music producer website, since then they worked tirelessly to
perfect their unique sound and energetic live sets and gained support from
some of the world's top DJs.

Klartraum's debut album 'Evolution' is to be released through their own
Lucidflow label and is set to give an insight into the duo's keen musical
passion and production prowess. Klartraum is German for the stage of lucid
dream, that point when you become aware that you are dreaming and are
able to manipulate your surroundings. The name is fitting for an act that
clearly bring a strong spiritual element to their music, an element that is
reflected both in the rich sound and the emotive titles.

Klartraum pride themselves on a production style that sees them work at
a self confessed breakneck speed, a speed not born out of undue haste
but rather out of a flow that they obviously hit together in the studio.
Ideas are bounced and crafted, before mixes are sculpted in an almost jam
session style, giving their music an organic feel and fluidity often missing in
electronic productions.

Stylistically 'Evolution' sits in the space between house and techno, drawing
on stripped rhythms, taught percussion and FX that give a minimal infused
electronic edge However their subtle melodic elements and emotive
atmospheric sound give their music a depth that takes it way beyond being
tracks simply for the dancefloor, the tinkling Rhodes keys and uplifting
chords of 'Angelo' or the rich pads and beautiful melodies of opener 'Unique
Shadow' give a sense of musicality and a wonderful ethereal feel.

'Evolution' is made up of 15 stunning compositions, many of them epic in
length and all of them demanding of your keen attention from the opening
bar. This is an album not to be ignored by a production duo who have
already 'earned their stripes' yet are almost certainly set for even greater
things.
