They should be fine all fallen are good, but dude it doesnt really matter what shoes they are, when i first sakted i used athletecs by kmart lol. but there are bad shoes tho, like new balanses are hard to ollie in I think, some ppl can tho. Its mostly personal preference. but make sure that they arent shoes u are afraid to mess up when u skate.

when i stand still the back dont come up and it looks stupid when i moving i do an ollie but it dont go high :S

make sure u snap good, and it seems to me u need to work on ur front foot sliding up. I really does help most of the time when u turn it sideways and roll it(front foot) try different timings like if u normally pop then slide try them even closer together it helps me. anf focus on bringing the board up in the air
