A neat documentary about the historic night at Acton Town Hall, Joe and The Mescaleros played a benefit gig for the FIre Brigade Union.It was at this gig in which Joe Strummer and Mick Jones, both of The Clash were onstage, together playing for the first time in nearly 20 years.Sadly Joe passed away a little more than a monthafter this faboulous footage was shot. I (along with the red watch at Acton, particularly Steve Humpreys) and Dave Bolton organised this gig. It was just the station band and a feminist acapella line up of Velvet Fist (I say just - these women sang at the House of Commons at Tont Benn's 70th! and our own No Bitchin line up also scored some seriously good gigs). Then Ghada Razuki and Linda Smith got involved, got us Joe Strummer and the rest literally is history.

@AdamRamone1234 Thanks Adam. The event got sort of hijacked (understandably) after Mick Jones took to the stage. I'd been taking pictures all night apart from playing in the second band (No Bitchin) and my final hour running the donation bar. The Town Hall was the largest sell out in that whole Mescaleros tour (1000 people) and no single event raised more for the striking firefighters (£10,000). I did a limited edition DVD slide show of the strike and gigs including Billy Bragg.
