Out on Cass lake this morning with my '77 Glastron/Carlson CVX16. The 100HP V4 Johnson is spinning my OMC SRX Chopper during this video. I have mounted up my DSLR to a tripod on my dash. This video is pretty much from one end of the lake to the other and back some. Running idle speed then right up to 4000 as I take off. Then the motor speed climbs as I trim up to near maximum trim. Anti-vent plate is nearly 2 1/2" above the keel and water pressure at Wide open throttle is 25psi @ 5800 RPM spinning my OMC SRX 13 3/4 x 23 Chopper. There is a bit of jiggle on the camera but that is the best I could do with the gear I had at the time. Boat is running a top speed of 55MPH. I ran the length of the lake and half the way back for a total of 4.3 miles on this video.

  • 7 or 8 minutes. My lake is only 1280 acres and about 2 miles end to end.
