dumdane you're a dope. I googled Hardinger's song, listened to it, and I'll agree there are two similarities. 1) a man is singing 2)someone is playing a guitar.

This is so clearly a poor rip off of the legendary Michael Hardinger song "Walk, mand!!" from 1981. Just totally sad to see REM's lawyers do their dirty work without a clue.

Poor Mike! He's crammed back there trying to play. I giggled right along with Stipe whenever they hit a bump. I lost it at the end when Mills says, "It's like trying to play in a cement mixer." Now THAT'S a true professional when you can play in a moving van and STILL sound great!
