This is how to rig an image for beginners. I can't rig an image better yet because I can't cut the backround off.

  • You rigged it wrong. The bones weren't parented correctly, and the character needs to be in sections for it to work well.

  • @TheAmazingCreative Uh, this tutorial is very old and I just figured it out, so I was thinking, "Yay! I don't care other than that I made it move!" So uh, yeah.

  • @MsDANNY33 Um, it's been awhile since I animated... Lemme dust off the old noggin... Okay, so, make sure it's a PNG image file, and also make sure that you cut the background away in a software like Photoshop or Paint.net. Uh, make sure the bones are not flexible. Uh, make sure you have the parent bones set correctly by, I think pressing Shift+P and setting them so they move like Hand->Wrist->Arm->Chest, and uh, I can't think of anything else... I hope I help you bro.
