http://circuitbendingfool.blogspot.com/ The Baby Einstein Orchestra is a simple toy that plays music by some very famous composers. These newer Disney toys are not very bendable but sometimes, when I am roaming around a thrift store, I will grab one. With a musical mind I think this piece can be put to some good creative use. I bent the pitch resistor way down and trimmed the pot pretty well. Adding body contacts tapped into some nice overdrive and random sizzle. The interface here allows for interactive blending of the different sections and/or instruments of an orchestra to create your own real time mix to classical music by Mozart, Beethoven & Rossini. After the first song sliding the 6 instrument levers will produce short samples, actually three different melodic ideas in accending pitches per click and there are 5 more character voices activated by buttons to chime in, so when this thing gets going, there is all sorts of mashed-up classical, fabley, droneyness. I have included an 1/8" output and a big phat knob.
