My mom & dad's families were always a part of this church. They all were married there and my aunt & uncle live around the corner on 118th st right now. This church will always be a part of us.

@xCAGx77 Your right about that, my family lived on E 115 street, my Great Grandfather had a pushcart where he sold fruits and vegtables; he like many others wound up in Morris Park where he opened up a Deli.

@nytmstr correct, most of the Harlem italians moved up to Morris Park, Pelham Bay, Throgs Neck and Pelham Parkway because the government decided to knock down the buildings they lived in and built the projects.
-
Most of the Italians moved into the Bronx, not Brooklyn. And there are like 2 Italians left, but dont worry the yuppies are coming to "save" but actually destroy this old time neighborhood! Gentrification is the slaughter of born and raised blue collar/working class New Yorkers. Thank the politicians

God didn't call Mary "Mother of God," "Queen of Heaven," "Coredemptrix," and all those anti-Christian titles.

I suppose St. Vincent Pallottine should take lessons from you. He laid his life down for Jesus, served the poor helped to proclaim the Gospel and set the captives free for Our Lord. And all in his order do the same for Our Lord. Our Lady was given the title by God the Father "Blessed among all Women"

So according to what you are saying, Christ is not the Son of God and Son of Mary??
