a simple circuit bending project, not the best filmed video on earth but it shows off most of the features. Since this video I have cross bent this with a cheapy yamaha drum machine to create some really great effects....
No realy study involved I just opened it up and used alligator clips and a 100k pot to connect things togeather and see what the result was. After awhile I came to identify what did what and I could sort-of guess what X was going to effect when crossed with Y. I then took all the best connections and made them into perminent buttons/switches/knobs on the outside and closed it all up again.
No actually, circuits in little devices like this use very little power, in fact this particular device only uses 4.5 volts DC(3 AA's). Actually a good way to find bends is with your bare fingers. Just steer clear of crossing chips (or fingers) with the + side of the amplifier and your A-okay.
I just circuit bent one of these last night! I made it play extreme techno beats with Waltz on I believe.

arent you afraid that when you bend it, it will electricute you?
