You want young pitchers to stop breaking down with injuries? How about THIS for an idea: QUIT BABYING THEM! Stop putting pitchers on insane pitch counts and innings limits that don't seem based on any reality. Pitchers that are allowed to pitch get healthy. Pitchers that are babied break down. How long does this have to happen before people start to see a PATTERN???!!!!

In 1991, Jack Morris pitched a 10 inning shutout in the DECIDING GAME OF A WORLD SERIES. They would never do that today. It's not exciting when 10 relievers I have never heard of come out.

I 100% agree Sully...I can't stand when a manager pulls a pitcher when he's thrown a two-hitter through eight and struck out ten. Good way to lose a ballgame.
