  • First of all, the maker of this video is an idiot. Here's why: Toyota recall does NOT include Lexus or Scion Products, and its not past 5 years, its 2007-2010. Also Toyota didn't recall ALL TOYOTAS, only 8 models and not all of those 8 are infected. And by the way, the gas pedal is NOT a Japanese part, the gas pedal is produced by CTS. Toyota stopped manufacturing and selling all infected vehicles because they want to do the right thing and fix their problem unlike other companies (FORD)

  • UPDATE January 26, 2010

ALL MODELS MADE THE LAST 5-6 YEARS-EVERYTHING!!!

  • Most toyotas are built in the US by americans... Hello, where are chevys made and how about fords? The problem is from a poor manufacture of the pedal assy.... PROBABLY AN AMERICAN COMPANY TRYING TO MAKE IT CHEAP TO MAKE A LARGE PROFIT......

  • Chevy Equinox - 32mpg

    Origin USA - Assembly USA

    Honda CRV - 28 mpg

    Origin Japan - Assembly Japan

    Toyota Rav4 - 28 mpg

Origin Japan - Assembly - Japan

    Smart Patriots also buy American

  • if toyotas are so great, why do their trucks break in half? i have never seen a truck of any kind break in half, except toyota. also they have bribed ntsb officials for decades to avoid any publicly known recalls that would tarnish their phony reputation. now that the ntsb is holding them to the same standard as other auto makers, they are having millions of recalls. OVER 12 MILLION RECALLS IN 2010, AND ALREADY OVER 2 MILLION SO FAR IN 2011! WAKE UP, PEOPLE!

  • ok if toyota in america is really made in japan, how come only americans are experiencing this problem?

  • @dougvws More like Toyota's trying to make it cheap and make a large profit. If they really care for their so-called American consumers, they would import the SAME cars they manufacture for their Japanese market instead of making inferior variants for export.

  • I like this vid. lol. Faulty Gas pedals assembly and cpu=DEATH!! Recall. Quick. But America has some CRAP cars 2. Overall, Nissan is the best.

  • @dougvws the pedal assy was made/built in the US, but the manufacturer has no rights to modify the spec & design. The spec & design was definitely Toyota's responsibility.

  • @Fernando069 Not built by americans so in theory its more Mexican than American.

Doesn't help job situation in America only helps keep Mexicans in Mexico legally as opposed to being here illegally not paying taxes and getting more right s than the true Americans.

  • America! Fuck Ya! lol

  • i would never buy any japanese products.

    japanese products = low qualities.

bought one SONY LCD TV costed me 1500 bucks in 2008 and got it fixed four times. eventually got fed up and bought a LG LCD TV (same size but lower price). dropped twice accidently but still working fine.

  • It is really scary how TOYota owners are downplaying these recalls. And people act like the big three/ US government teamed up to discredit TOYota, when in reality TOYota made a HUGE mistake and got caught trying to cover it up. Fuck Japan

  • @ThePatriotHour I have little respect for japs too(see the j uncapitalized) I see them and I go mad cause of them, think about it idiots killing inoccent people for raw material japanese people need to learn a good harsh lesson
