Salzwasser mit Extrakt aus blauen Petunienblüten und bedeckt von Olivenöl wird elektrolysiert in 2 miteinander verschweißten Zylindern von Einwegspritzen (2 ml). Sie stehen in einer Infusionsflasche (50 ml) voll blauem Salzwasser. Spannungsquelle: Zwei Batterien (9 V) in Reihenschaltung. Negative Elektrode: Kupferdraht, positive Elektrode: Bleistift-Mine. Gasentwicklung an beiden Elektroden, Gelbfärbung, Schaum (links), Entfärbung, weiße halbfeste Masse (rechts).
Salt water mixed with an extract of blue Petunia petals and coverd by olive oil is electrolyzed in two syringe cylinders (2 mL). They are welded with each other and placed in an infusion bottle (50 mL) full of blue salt water. Power supply: Two batteries (9 V) connected in series. Negative electrode: copper wire, positive electrode: pencil lead. Observations: Gas bubbles at both electrodes, yellow colour and foam (left), decolourisation and semi-solid white substance (right),
