Techila Grid Technology Brief

A High Performance Computer produces as much heat as four sauna stoves. Techila Technologies (www.techila.fi) is the developer of Techila Grid middleware; a solution that reduces computing center workload by distributing the computations to personal computers.

Techila is a virtual supercomputer. Unlike a conventional HPC, Techila does not need custom-built and air-conditioned computing facilities. Techila fits into the system securely. It is invisible to end-users. And it does not require any changes to the current ways of working.

Techila users are able to complete seven-year-long computations in six days. This is making the impossible possible.
