Last night (Jan 14, 2009) was the last ever gig at the historic Astoria in London. The venue is to be demolished to make way for a new rail station. The gig included this gem - former Mansun singer Paul Draper's first live performance in almost 7 years, singing with My Vitriol as his backing band. Awesome.

  • Heh - I think it is. I didn't even notice that at the time... The performance was epic, though. It was almost as big a reason for being at the gig as the death-of-the-Astoria theme.
