  • ok that fucker is a gooseneck as you notice the ball attached to the truck instead of the trailer. If it was attached to the trailer it would be a 5th wheel.

  • @MF11283 still that unsafe to pull and that 5th wheel hitch is not made to work on tailgate. I had been RV tech for longtime and I install these things on back of pickup trucks. If guy ask me to put it on this blazer I would refuse service his blazer due to liability. Anyhow its still not legal and unsafe.

  • @pantherxx010 as I said there is no probable cause, you have no clue about that setup you are ASSuming with no facts, you have no clue if the leaf pack on that truck has been ripped apart or has so many miles that the spring is gone and thats why its sagging, a 2.8 blazer is rated to tow like 2500 or 3000 a 4.3 is 5500lbs. 5500 lbs is right about a 24 foot fifth wheel. next you have no clue if that fifth wheel has been gutted and is just getting used as a security shack or what

  • @MF11283 dude 1st that is a chevy blazer and its compact truck like S-10 pickup they cant pull no more than 3k lbs. 2nd yes its way over the GCWR becuase trailer right here is more than 9K lbs and 5th is about 20% of total gross of trailer full weight.

So if you look at the front end of that picture carefuly you will see the front is being lifted which make it unsafe to be pulling that trailer. 5th wheel are made for over the axle or big truck that can handle 20% weight.

  • @pantherxx010 what would be the probable cause to pull him over, as long as the hitch is secured, the truck isnt over GCWR or rear axle weight rating there is nothing illegal about this

  • saw this and I laugh at this one. but DOT will pull him over for sure.

  • HAHAaaaa, that was awesome!

  • bad idea with a heavy trailer but it would work good for moving EMPTY Flatdeck Trailers i would love to see how fast it stops on a hill and how long till you need to stop for a NEW TRANNY!

    good find!
