After a delegation of Bombardier workers went to London on 12/10/2011 to lobby MP's during a trade union meeting at the house of commons we we're just about to leave London when someone on the coach spotted no other than Philip Hammond in Victoria Tower Gardens giving an interview about HS2 to ITV News. We jumped on the opputunity to meet him and went straight over with our protest banners held high to ask him about his controversial decision to award preferred bidder status to Siemens rather than Bombardier at the cost of thousands of British jobs. See what you think to his response to our questions...
Wonder if he knew he had a new role to go to!
