I'm saying that rule by the Republican Political Party is not what the republic of the United States of America wants or needs most, in my opinion. I'm asking you if you think that the majority of the U.S.A.'s residents want / need a democratic government more than a republican government? Regardless of your opinion, I'd like to know why as well.

Also, I realize that the term "republican" is not meant to be interchangeable with the term "constitutional republic".
