After reading your comments'from today' will try your tested method using hydrogen peroxide to give me some relief from my blocked nose. I personally had 2 nasal polyps removal operations lasting six months while the second only 6 weeks.I also have asthma being told I had contracted both ailments through my allergic reaction to aspirin used to thin down my blood. I have tried everything on the planet so hopefully this will give me some sort of easement to help me sleep being deterred by apnea.
Nasal Polyps, like mine, sometimes come's from too many allergies and asthma fused together. I have 11 allergies and asthma and nasal Polypls and I'm only 13 female. I need surgery and the doc said it might be 3 or 4 years before they come back. You reason for polyps may differ form my polyps
Thanks for responding. I've considered surgery, and am leaning toward it everyday. However, there are some complications associated with such surgery, though. So far, the hydrogen peroxide nasal wash has been slowly, but surely, breaking down the poly. Immediately after the wash, a heavy amount of white (literally white) "goo" comes out (no bubbles whatsoever). It's obviously doing something, but I'm taking it slow, as I don't want to injur the mucous membrane....
I'm having surgey as well. I'm nervous but I'll try. Anyways I responded because anyone who has polyps in the nose is a sad person because they can't breath or anything. I've had mine and didn't realise this for 5 years. *Achoo* bless me ^_^!
What you'll want to do, is ask your local drug store for the best (brand name wise) 3% hydrogen peroxide that they carry. Get yourself a nasal "squirter" (any off the shelf one will do). Mix the peroxide with a little water, empty the squirter with whatever substance came with it, then fill it with the peroxide/water solution....
From there, you'll want to do the process two times a day (once in the morning, and once at the night just before you go to sleep). Stick the squirter the way you normally would into one side of your nose (while holding the other side closed with your finger), squirt the solution in, while sniffing the solution DEEPLY into your nasal cavity. It's going to "feel" like it's burning, but it's NOT literally burning anything....
Peroxide is simply H202, the added oxygen kills off the bacteria living inside of your nose. After a couple of days of usage, your going to be pulling and blowing things out of your nose that's going to astonish you. At first, they're going to appear "white" and "clear" in color (this is the actual polyp, the peroxide is killing it, and it's chipping away at it). You'll also have the same "white" goo coming out of your eyes (it's all connected, of course)....
