Here's an unusual version of this song....intriguing in that JT uses a reel-to-reel tape recorder to background the part usually taken over by Arnold McCuller.
ps Your comments, suggestions, ratings etc will be much appreciated.
Hope you enjoy it.......
Ken
Just a man and his guitar with a tape deck in front of hundreds of people. He sure amazed the audience that night.

It would seem that 3 or possibly more people need some Love Showered on them...LOVE YOU 3, "Things are gonna be just Fine!!!"

I totally remember when he was using the reel-to-reel recorder in his concerts. He did that for a couple of years, it was a recurring part of the show. One year he did a duet with himself on an old Cole Porter tune, "You're Just In Love" and I think there was a second self-duet another year, but I can't remember the name of the tune. Thanks for this great video!

Taylor did this in Austin, Texas in 1988 when my wife and I saw him. Because of my wife, I've seen him 4 times. I think when I make love to her, she thinks of him. Oh well, she's a great fuck.

Nothing but the truth here.

That's funny! I like the fact that he had the reel-to-reel on the stage. That's not bad. As a song, it was heartfelt, NOT sappy. James Taylor wasn't known for being sappy, and that's worthy of respect.
