I pity Garneau immensely for what he suffered through as a child. At the same time however, he was able to turn it into an inspirational tool, rather than turning into an introvert or becoming perpetually depressed about his unfortunate situation. I didn't know that this song was about it, but it was obvious with Baby's Romance. I love both songs.

@Cereghini He not only write it, but this song is inspired by the abuse he has suffered as a child, if you look in to the lyrics, you will notice. Same for Babys Romance

exact same chords and progression as adele's turning tables just slower, i think adele is a theif!

My piano teacher and I are working on this, and when he got through writing down all the chords for me, he's just like, "PLEEEEASE don't lose this!" because it took him forever to do it all. Garneau's music can be pretty complex.
