  • An Arvin on top of a Magnavox Stereo Theatre? Pretty portable, and a fun song! The Rockyfellers have tons more personality than THE Rockefellers. Hands down.

  • Had no idea that this was the real version, I was used to the jazz version. Interesting piece of history I just learned...

  • When i was a little girl about 5 i used to stand on the coffee table dancing to this song with all my family cheering me on.LOL

  • This was a bad song!!!!!!!!!! reminds me when i lived in california......Wish i was there...

  • @surfside48 I agree with you, though I should write it "eye igri wit yew" and add a "hahahahahahaha" to the end. After all, if "everybody is doing it", by definition it must be good, right? :-)

  • Growing up my father recounted a story of the group The group originally named the Rockafellers but the rich family made them change their name...

  • another classic song that i will sing and remember for many years

  • Man, I was just a kid when this version came out! Very cool! If you listen to "You Don't Have To", by 'The Beeds' (posted on youtube) the lead singers have the same unique voice!

  • Very underrated song

  • I have to admit that I have two sources for alot of my info: Billboards top 40 book and wikipedia. I also keep A copy of A soft cover OXFORD AMERICAN DICTIONARY, 'Beekuzz I Kan't spel fore chit.(Ha, Ha.) Just A little retired salesman's humor.
