@juggernautdeath1 It's you who doesn't understand. He's trying to rouse people to repel the "brutes" of society, to take back the nations they built. He is trying to get people to remember they live in a democracy and they DO have power. They have more power than every politician and wallstreet goon combined, but they become complacent and they wallow in despair. He's trying to get people to remember to fight for what's right.

I think this is the first time I hear Chaplin's voice.

do you guys not understand? The whole video is showing us where democracy has gotten the world, and everything he says is the opposite of that, but at the end he says "in the name of democracy unite!" this modern representation of his speech shows that all he said never came to be in democracy. While the whole time we were thinking that he was talking about something better than democracy.

I get goosebumps at the end by looking at Charlie Chaplin's face. Might be unintentional, but it's a worried face.
